Growing up San Antonio, Texas Holly graduated Magna Cum Lade from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences in Interior Design. Holly's portfolio has expanded to include boutique hospitality, retail, and luxury residential spaces. Furthermore, she is officially licensed by the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification), an industry benchmark for excellence in education and experience for designing interiors with regards to the health, safety and welfare of the public.
Her expert’s eye for design is the product of over a decade’s worth of experience influenced by a passion for art and travel. Indeed, her work contains design inspiration collected from visiting New York, South Carolina, New Mexico and Canada with foreign accents derived from the trendy cities of New Zealand. Her work has also been influenced from living in New England for a few years. Decades of observation has molded Holly’s design philosophy, which has updated and broadening her aesthetic.
Fashion also influences her design. She looks at how she can translate a piece of clothing or wardrobe that really inspires her into a space. Holly is also a visual artist, painter and product designer. She loves working with her hands is always creating something fun whether it's for a party, the holidays or for a client.
Holly is focused on creating vibrant, colorful, and eclectic interiors. She is drawn to anything that is handmade, be it jewelry, art, or furniture. She's especially drawn to things that are Moroccan, Indian, African and Native American. She also has a special place in her heart for insects, gems, and the Southwest.
Holly is constantly building relationships with the professional community. Holly has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce, AIA (American Institute of Architects), IIDA (International Interior Design Association), ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). Holly served on the Home Builders and Remodelers Council in Vermont, and was on the board of the AIA Homes Tour in San Antonio, Texas.
With every project, Holly strives to design a timeless living environment with multi-generational appeal. She is bold (and a little playful), designing spaces that are intuitive, comfortable, and sophisticated. Holly recently moved from Vermont back to her native roots of Texas. She currently resides in Dallas with her husband, son, and Dexter, their ten year old dachshund.
