Hello! I hope you had a nice Labor Day Weekend. Summer is coming to an end, so I decided last minute to take a mini vacation with my family to explore Portland, Maine before it gets too chilly to walk around outside! I don't think my Texan blood will ever acclimate to the cold New England weather...
We went on a boat tour and visited the Victoria Mansion which was incredible, but I also wanted to squeeze in a couple of art gallery visits on our way to and fro. Portland has great galleries, many of which feature local artists.
I work with many art galleries and consultants to curate art for my projects. Art is so subjective, so it can take months or even years to find the right piece for a client's private collection. Therefore, I'm always on the lookout for a great piece of art.
What you hang on your walls is an extension of your personality and life experiences. When you're on vacation or even walking around your hometown, I encourage you to stop into a gallery. You never know what you might find to bring home to add to the rest of your story!
